Caelum Noctis (Latin): Night Heavens
Though separated by four decades of life, we both found a love for the night sky as teenagers and have teamed up to explore and capture images of the night heavens (Caelum Noctis).
After individual astronomical efforts, our mutual Project began by duct taping Gabe’s Canon camera to Brian’s 45 year old 6” Newtonian reflector telescope using a piece of PVC pipe as an adapter to take a picture of the moon. We then quickly moved to more and more advanced equipment.
Our desire is to share with you images that we are unveiling in the typically hidden portions of God’s Creation. We are continuing to seek ways to search out things that even kings of long ago could not imagine lay deep in outer space.
